I am just curious here. I tried using these two images and WTF will not identify this font.
I know the font now but am curious if you guys can find it with these two images. The text I am looking for is Berry.

Similar is Metro Nova, but they used another "y" or modified it...

similar "y":

Hmmm, thats a very good question... Sometimes new fonts or from (exclusive) fontfoundries FindMyFont has no archive.
But especially in this case, I'm wondering as you! Because Roxy is an "old" everywhere known font...
@ FMF heads:
maybe FMF archives need updates?

Hi Jim and Kayman,

Thank you for your posts.

First of all lets clear up what WTF means. Do you mean Find my Font? In this case we use the acronym FmF ;)

Why do you say that FmF does not identify the font? It does, but Roxy does not come up in the first place, it comes up 8th.

The reason Roxy does not come up first is that in the image the font has been expanded (stretched horizontally). Find my Font tries to match fonts that have the expanded width and that's why it considers other fonts to be more relevant.
To fix that, you may use the Image Correction tool as shown below to compress the image back to its original width:

Now if you try to identify the font on the new (compressed) image, Roxy comes up first:

Regarding our Font Database, we update it every 2-4 months. It is always possible that we have not included some of the latest fonts, or that we missed a font or two. That's where we need your help to let us know of fonts we have missed. Our mission is to include every legitimate font available in our database.

Yes my bad I meant FMF. But when I used these images I can tell you roxy never came up in the list for me. I cleared out the image a few times and tried again and again no roxy in the list. All I can say is It must be very very touchy the way the image is put in. That is where most of the troubles I find is the images don't load good for me. I try enlarging changing contrast and stuff it just seems there needs to be some work there to make it easier. Or I just suck at using FMF. :ohmy:Thanks for the response.
