I am having trouble identifying this font. It is the only letter that I have to go by.

I have FMF Pro, but it isn't coming up with it either.

I looked at both Find my Font database and my database (some 100.000s fonts) but I can't find a match.
If this is a monogram it could be custom-made (not a font) or loosely based on a font.
The closer I can see is the "D" of "Old English" available by Adobe & Monotype (maybe from others too):

It's far from being a match, but it could be a good starting point if you want to recreate it.
