Hello,
I'm looking for a font used here. It was definitely released before 2005 and appears to be some Garamond Rough-type font but not the same one as sold by Elsner+Flake. I can see that distortion on glyphs such as 'f' is the same which confirms that's the feature from the font rather than something added later.

Also that star symbol might be a part of the font? But might also just be added separately (it's a film prop).

Hello,
The "Aldine 401" sold by Bitstream looks very close to your sample, if not an exact match:
www.myfonts.com/fonts/bitstream/aldine-401/

I can see also a similar star symbol in the character map, after the right parenthesis character ;)
