| Hi, when I try to start FindMyFont after installation I get "FindMyFont already running". But I can't find it. Any advice will be appreciated. Heinz |

| Hi Heinz, There is a small chance that you can get this message even if the application is not running, but this is the first incident ever reported. Are you running the Find my Font Free-Trial or the Pro edition? What is your operating system, MS-Windows or Mac OS? Note-1: Some technical details On application start-up a unique socket is opened at a fixed port: 1965 If the port cannot be opened you get the "FindMyFont already running" message and the application terminates execution. If another application happens to use the above port (1965) you may get this message even if Find my Font is not actually running. Note-2: How to fix this If another application is using port 1965 the only fix for now is to spot this other application and be able to change the port. If this is not possible, please wait until the next Find my Font release (probably at the beginning of next month) to release a fix by adding the port number to application preferences file. In this case you'll have to manually edit the preferences file and change the port number (once) before first run. Fivos Vilanakis - Softonium Developments CTO |

| Thank you Heinz. I've already filled a bug-report and I expect we'll have it permanently fixed on next release v3.3.02 (first week of April). Meanwhile, I created a temporary release v3.3.01 for you, to be able to test Find my Font. You can download it from the following URL: [removed] I changed the port from 1965 to 1743 to overcome this issue. Please let me know if this works for you.
