| I have installed the latest update, checked the firewall and still nothing is letting me check for fonts further than my computer. It just says connection error and cant connect to font server. Has anyone have any ideas on how to correct this? |

| Hi Robert, The message "Connection Error!" means either your computer is not connected to the Internet, or some other piece of software (e.g. your firewall) doesn't allow the Find my Font application to access our servers. Solution: Restore your internet connection or add Find my Font to white-list of your firewall to allow internet access. From the computer facing the issue, see if you can reach the url: www.findmyfont.com/ If you computer uses a proxy for its internet connection you may have to configure the app for the proxy. To edit the proxy settings go to Edit > Preferences and select the Network tab. Click on Manual Proxy Settings and enter the url and port of your proxy. If all else fails, please disable your firewall completely and see if that allows you to check fonts from our servers. If it does, you need to configure the firewall with the correct settings.
