| Question: I have 232487 font on my system. After setting up the font sets and indexing, the program reports that I have 384125 fonts. What causes this difference? Answer: The application creates additional "fake" italic fonts (*Oblique) and "fake" Bold fonts (*Bold)for every font not having a corresponding Italic/Bold counterpart in the same fontset. This is done in order to match a font-image which is "italicized" by software. The number of fonts reported by the program is the number of fonts on your system plus the "fake" Bold/Italic created by the program. You may disable the creation of 'fake' fonts in the program's settings. More information on fake fonts can be found on your program's help: Help => How To Procedures => What are 'fake' fonts Harris Kisseoglou Operations Manager Softonium Developments |
